King Point Enterprises Co., Ltd. (King Point), a leading manufacturer of fastening solutions, is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of its new smart factory in Renwu, Kaohsiung. The company, renowned for its PATTA brand and commitment to providing high-quality fasteners for automotive, construction industries, has a global footprint spanning over 120 countries. With a vision to become the world's most trusted one-stop shop for fastening solutions, King Point is dedicated to sustainable growth and global expansion.

The new factory, demonstrating King Point's commitment to Taiwan and sustainable development, will be built on a 9,200 sqm plot in the Renwu Industrial Park. This state-of-the-art facility, representing an investment of NT$3.1 billion, will combine low-carbon manufacturing with 5G AIoT technology, serving as the company's global logistics hub. The project is expected to create over 249 jobs, including 20 R&D positions, and further stimulate local industries and supply chains.

In response to the global trend toward green manufacturing and AI, King Point is proactively adopting 5G technology and data analytics to drive process optimization and energy efficiency at the new factory. The company aims to build a low-carbon smart factory that complies with the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the United States' Clean Competition Act (CCA). Leveraging the low latency of 5G, King Point will establish an AIoT system to enhance customer service and global supply chain management. This will significantly improve production capacity and efficiency while reducing the company's carbon footprint.
