In 2019, KING POINT ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. stood out among numerous candidates and was honored with the "42nd Taiwan’s Outstanding Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship Promotion Award." This recognition was part of the 28th Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship Award as well. On December 5th, during the award ceremony, Taiwan’s Vice President Chen Chien-Jen presented the award, publicly acknowledging these annual role models from different industries. This recognition serves to inspire young entrepreneurs to create new businesses and business models, drive socioeconomic prosperity, and enhance the nation's economic strength and competitiveness.

The "42nd Taiwan’s Outstanding Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship Promotion Award" ceremony took place on the 12th floor of the Grand Hotel in Taipei on December 5th. Besides Vice President Chen Chien-Jen presenting awards to the 20 awardees from both Taiwan and overseas, distinguished guests including Minister Shen Jong-Chin of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Vice Chairman Kao Chien-Chih of the Overseas Community Affairs Council, and Director-General Ho Chin-Chang of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration also attended to offer their congratulations.

The "Outstanding Entrepreneur Award" has been a significant event in the business community since its establishment in 1978. Initially, it was designed to recognize outstanding domestic enterprises, but in 1992, it expanded to include achievements in various industries by the Taiwanese entrepreneurs and the Overseas Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide. In 2019, a total of 15 domestic and 5 overseas awardees were selected, representing various industries such as coatings, construction and architecture, and general hardware products.

The key to success for all awardees in this edition was a clear brand vision, the realization of disruptive innovation, and a commitment to embracing the latest trends in Industry 4.0 and digitalization. They achieved this by creating new business models and enhancing consumer experiences, becoming exemplary figures in their respective industries.
